Morning all,
Weather here is lousy, thinking about doing something to the truck today. Something cheap, but maybe usefull. Looking at possibly opening up my OEM air box. ----Lousy weather thinking here------ So with this thinking, I've got a few questions for all.

1. besides making things a little louder, is there any real improvement?
2. if this does increase intake air a little, is the air that much that a new exhaust is needed just for this little mod?
3. will this mod cause any SES warning?
4. would this mod void the warrenty?
5 is this lousy weather making me not think right?

Hope there is sunshine and nice temps somewhere for the rest of the U.S.

By the way, it is a 2005 CC, D/A, LB, 4X4.

Thanks

Do a search on swiss cheesing for TONS of info. The short version is slice and dice with no ill effects but do it in the front and fender side of the box. A wee bit more noise, not much increase in HP but hey its free right? No codes ect.

Here are some pics from the founder and seller of the nicktane filter kit http://www.wackywack.com/dmax.htm scroll midway down and you should see the pics
