My recollection is that fuel gravity filled the filter on my last filter change. Tank was on empty; no flow. Added 20 gallons of diesel, 5 gallons at a time, still no flow. Lift pump can't pump it through. Can't get the fuel to fill up the filter. Whats wrong?

you have the bleeder screw open? it still needs to be. you may have lost the prime altogether and have big air pocket. try old fashion way for 10 pumps or so to get past lift pump and let it do the rest for you. i have two pumps on mine and last night it still took 30 secs to fill filter.

I tried filling the filter with diesel, then installing it. It worked! I must have lost prime all together.
