I will be towing a 3 car trailer loaded, at least 700 miles a week......
I am considering the Juice only (NO attitude moniter!) or the EZ.....
I have read alot on the EZ and the Juice with attitude, but nothing on the Juice only......
Is the 1-3 stages of both boxes the same?
Besides power levels being controled by a switch or the tow/haul button, Is the only difference between the two boxes a 4th power setting?
And last, is the lowest power setting of both boxes the same? With a big load i want a small increase to avoid heat!
Price not being a consideration, which do i buy?????:(
Thanks for your time....:)
If you don't care about price, then buy an Edge/Attitude. You can get one on ebay brand new for an LLY for about $630 shipped. See if a vendor from this site will price match for ya and buy from them. make sure it is the Version 1.2. The attitude display is worth every penny itself, the two extra power levels of the combo are just a small added bonus. Changing power levels on the fly is awesome. You will not be disappointed.

IMO, it looks like something is missing here. You're pulling a heavy trailer for many miles in hot country, and you're concerned about heat. But you've cut yourself out of having an EGT gauge. EGT, along with coolant temp, is the main concern when towing with an uprated engine. Drilling the hole in the manifold is not a big deal. Many have done it. A search in this forum should bring up lots of info.
As far as your question goes. if you don't want the higher power levels the EZ should be fine. You can check this with a call to Edge. I ran Juice only and later upgraded with an Attitude. Glad I did.

I read all of the stuff that you did to your truck and did not see where you did anything to prevent the cat delete pipe from throwing a check engine code. Did you also add the finger?

You don't have to tap in the egt TC to use the attitude.
