With tractor weights costing $1.00 a pound.... I needed a Cheaper way to added 500-600 lbs... This weighed in at 520 lbs including the mount and weights... It almost takes 2 people to load the weights though…. It is possible with one person. I can’t see any reason why they would not let me use this set up. Everything is very secure and doesn’t move at all, and cost very little...

Make sure that gusset is really welded good, multiple passes wouldn't hurt.

Seen them fail and it will bend/break.

There a LOT of force on it.

I did do multiple passes on them. I used two gussets side by side to try to help out some. The main problem it I wanted it as close to the bumper as possable. I Gained about 6" off the hitch I was using. its right at 25" to give me room when I crank down the bars and lower the air pressure. I could have used a longer reciver and had biger gussets but it would have suck out farther. We will have to see how it dose in Turlock Saturday night:D
