k so i been thinking it would be nice to have my efi live hard wired into my truck via a network cable but am un sure if i can. if i look at bench harness pin out on efi website and match them up with my dlc will it work and pionter. i wanna elinate the cord by my feet i no duratothemax has wired in a nother connector but i would rather just have a cord in my truck stricly for efilive. thanks

I have mine done that way. You will have no problems. Just check the pin outs for both connectors.

yep shouldn't have a problem. Except the '06's have a high speed data bus which requires a twisted pair wire to eliminate cross talk.

CAT5e or even CAT3 would work just fine

That would be great.

I leave V2 plugged in all the time with the OBDII tied up under the panel. Would be nice to have OBDII plug available if needed.

You know there is a write-up already in the DIY section for a secondary DLC. However, you CANNOT have the V2 plugged in while doing something with the factory DLC.
