Guys, I have a 1995 6.5 chevy. I have had a flowmaster muffler on for some time. I just removed the cat and the sound is much better. I have never heard the turbo whistle like I do on my 2005 d-max. I have really opened up the d-max airbox, however, the 6.5 air box appears to be drawing air from an intake tube inside the fender, possibly from the outside???? What is the best thing I can do to the stock air box to improve cool air intake??? Should I remove the air intake tube running through the right side fender??? Will any of these modifications improve turbo perfomance?? Any thoguhts??? Don't see many posts concerning the 6.5.
Thanks.
