I made the jump a year ago to try a diesel pickup by buying a creampuff 1994 gmc 2500 extended cab with only 57,000 miles.I have driven approx 4000 trouble free miles but now have a stalling issue to the point it left me stranded for several hours before it would restart..My friend had a known good pmd so I bought a relocation kit off ebay and installed.Everything was great for about 50 miles and now it is stalling again.I have been reading the forums for help.I tried the test for the lift pump.when i open the t valve all i get is a few droplets with no stall.Cracking the vent on the fuel filter gives a gurgling of fuel.Should there be a spray? The stalling is pretty random but this time around it doesn't want to restart easily sometimes taking 20-40 seconds to restart.I tried pulling trouble codes but all I got was a code 36.I don't want to screw up further diagnostics by replacing anything else until something concrete emerges. One weird thing though. When I was testing the lift pump for power there was diesel inside the weathertight connector. How would that happen?

Welcome to the site and I'd be happy to help but I'm not really all that knolagable on the 6.5. I would suggest posting in the 6.5 section there's tons more traffic over there

As said before the 6.5 section would definitely be a better place for this post but while we're here i'll try to give you some input and maybe the mods will move it over. Code 36 is an IP code but the PMD can also cause it at times. There have been times when an EBAY PMD relocation kit was used and that code was thrown. Also if it is not installed correctly the code could appear. Was the PMD used because there is also a chance that it could be going bad as well even if it is relocated and is it heat sinked to the bumper? Another thing that could cause the stalling is a bad oil pressure switch
