: Secondary Fuel Filter?

Hoping to learn the latest opinion on secondary fuel filter set-up for LB7. At 68000 miles I'm becoming paranoid about the injectors failing. Two friends just had theirs replaced and I'm accepting its going to happen, just want it to be later since I'm out of warranty anyway.

I run the Racor PFF50216 and try to change it pretty regular. Wondering if another set-up would be worth considering just to prolonge the inevitable, and if so which one is recommended. One that made changing the stock filter a little easier would be a bonus for sure.

I realize there seems to be conflicting opinions on if the filtering effects the injector failure at all, but I'm thinking it cant hurt. Looking for recommendations hopefully around couple hundred $ for an effective set-up.

AND, like many others the wires on my WIF sensor broke long ago and I've been running without it hooked up. Is it worth the $50 to replace or is it even effective?

As always, many thanks.

Truck is a 2002 LB7.

This is the setup I rigged up back in '06. Still working great! Got all the parts at NAPA.
