I did not find this in the FAQ, so I thought I would ask.
I am building a 6.5 and I need to position the IP gear. I know the crank and cam gears are aligned using the dots, which should bring the #1 to tdc. At that point how do I align the IP gear?

In my chilton manual it shows the pump gear and cam gear being aligned when the timing marks on both gears are nearest each other and in line between the shaft centers. Rotate the crank till the cam gear is in position and then install the pump gear. 20 ft lbs on the IP gear.
