looking at a Quadzilla, DPF delete pipe, and MBRP exhaust tip someone has. I believe the Quadzilla will take care of the DPF delete, but is there anything else I should know about buying a used programmer? What kind of results do the Quad owners get from theirs?

Just make sure the original owner has returned his truck back to stock to get his VIN out of the tuner. Then just update with the No-DPF tunes, upload into your truck. That's about it. I used the Quad S2 for almost 18months before I sold it here and got my Edge Race Evo. I like my Edge more due to the cleaner tuning, better mpg's over my Quad, turbo brake feature, gauges built in, and the rumble at idle vs. the hissing of Quad's tuning. But, I had no issues with my Quad and for an inexpensive tuner (especially used), it's hard to beat! Chris

Just purchased the Quad and MBRP 4 in straight pipe. Exhaust went on rather easy but the truck hisses due the VVT Turbo we have on the truck. I didnt due the research needed and if i did i would of bucked up and have gotten EFI Live. That being said i will be getting EFI tunes asap. Hope this helps..

quad is not a bad tuner for the money, a few querks with it at first use, but for 400 dollars and 135 (okay) hp gains its not bad, but like everyone told me, it will defuel during shifts, it will possibly have problems during tuning changes, and no form of engine parameter monitorings will be your only "problems". ill be running quad s2 for a little while until i decide to either go with edge, or EFI live. but for now people tell me i will be satisfied with the quad.
