I have just purchased a ‘04 Weekend Warrior, FS2600. It has the fiberglass sides and per the original owner it has all the available options. I am going to pull it with a ‘05 2500HD Duramax. It is a 4wd crew cab long bed.
I think the trailer is great but have some concerns about the weight and for sure the tongue weight. Can anyone with a similar rig give me some advice on what the hitch set-up should be? Can you answer the following questions?
What is loading rating on hitch?
Do you use an equalizer type hitch? If so what is arm rating?
Do you use air bags?
What do you think your tongue load is?
Anything more I should be asking?
