i just put new injectors in my 02 lb7 with 134000 miles. i got a slight knock when on the throttle and when i am up to speed (60 or 70 mph) the motor will change tone when you easily push on the go pedal and let up. i might just be paranoid that i got bad injectors but this is my first diesel and i am still learning. my edge shows good balance rate also. the injectors came from huckstorf diesel. the only thing on the truck is a 4" exhaust cold air intake and the edge juice with attitude cs. any ideas please

help me out please. it has never made these sounds before. i don't know if it is normal or not because i bought the truck in febuary of this year and i believe the injectors was bad when i bought it.

Where did you buy your injectors? Are they remans? Have you tried running with the stock tune?

My guess is that it is just how the new injectors sound.
Many times it will sound different when you put new injectors in.

i got the injectors from huckstorf diesel and they are stock bosch remans. i have had it stock tune for a few days now and the sound seems to be getting worse. i had a buddy look at it and he seems to think it might be the vacume pump or an exhaust leak on one of the up pipes. we can't really pin point where the sound is coming from so is there any way i can check to see if it is the vacume pump.
