My friend and I were heading up the mountain with our fivers a couple of weeks ago. He has an 09 LMM and mine is an 08 LMM. First big hill he heard a huge bang and engine power reduced. We opened the hood and his boost tube had blown off and the clamp and rubber boot were torn. He had to be towed to the dealer and another truck had to come get his fiver. The dealer said there were none in the area. This was a Friday morning and they said they wouldn't have one until Wednesday. This in the Phoenix area so there are quite a few dealers. Talked with our normal service guy on Tuesday and he explained that there is an issue with those tubes. He explained they came as a new kit and they are an improvement to fix the issue. I called the dealer to see if mine was the same and they told me yes. I just took mine in and had it replaced also. I don't want to be stuck on the side of the road for tow hours again. Anybody had this same issue?
