Help. My SES light is coming on with P0299, P0401, and P0404 codes. When this happens the turbo does not spool up....robbing me. All power is restored when the codes are cleared. I have read a bunch of threads concerning this but I am still unsure if putting in the finger stick will actually fix the problem. I have already ordered it along with the EGR block plate so I hope it will do the job. Thanks.

I am having the same problem with my truck. I have the exact codes as you. Everything was fine till last night and it started. I have reset them several times but they come right back. I went to the dealer today and they said there could be no diagnosis till I put the stock air cleaner back on. So I will put the stock cleaner back on and try again tomorrow.

Please let me know what you find out. I am headed over to Auto Zone to have the code cleared.....again.

These codes are setting in error. There is a new calibration that fixes this problem. available.

I have the stick/egr install done. ButJimmy is correct there is a flash that address those issues. If your dealer is giving you fits about intake and exhaust mods find another one. I have no issues with mine and the tech is great, pluged in the techII and checked for update and done.

Do a search for AFE Stage 2 and the three codes you have... you will find your answer.

I got those codes as soon as I installed the 4"mbrp cat back... fingerstick and plate should be next

I pulled the exact same 3 codes from mine today and my dealer said they have notices on it and will fix it tomorrow. I am hoping the reflash gives it a little more power. Mine won't break the tires loose and I want to wear these out already. ;) It wouldn't break the stock ones loose either. My buddies 02 will so I am eating a little crow over the issue.
