1st post on this site, but been on others for many years. I have read some on this site and good info.

Anyways my question is my fuel problem. My 08 won't hold much fuel it seems. The fuel light can come on and when I fill it up it might hold 12-14 gal of fuel. I will use a truck pump of a 4 wheeler pump fast or slow filling it does not matter. I put a lot of miles on my truck and have hand checked the mpg and they are in check. The truck just acts like it has a 15gal tank.

might take the fuel tank shield off and see if the tank has collapsed.

Next time the light comes on try dipping the tank to see how much fuel is there. Maybe a bad sender.

The fuel gauges are way off on most of these trucks - yours a little more than most. My 34 gallon tank shows empty when it still has 5 gallons left.
