Speedometer started messing up, took it to the dealer & they want $445 in parts for the repair. sound right & how hard is it to do yourself.

Way too much.

Most mail order shops are well under that price.

But if your under 100k miles, it doesn't hurt to call the Customer Resistance 800 hotline and give them a sob story, as there was an outstanding "silent bulletin" on the cluster, for 7yr/ 70k miles (some said it was 100k).

Struck out, they said i didn't fall under the umbrella of clusters that needed to be replaced. Anyone got an address to send a letter to complain?

I pulled my cluster and sent it to be repaired a couple of months ago. Takes about 10 minutes to pull it out. There is even a link on Youtube which shows it. I sent mine to a company in TN that was on Ebay. They replaced all the stepper motors and lights for $65 and gave a lifetime warranty. You might want to give that a try.

I'm pretty sure that "usspeedo" on here performs that service.
