Does anybody have one of these yet? After looking at the factory air intake, it looks like it leaves a lot to be desired. If anybody has one of these, I'd like to hear your thoughts and how hard it was to install. I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the hose clamps around the sensor and intake heater? in the middle of the intake tube. I don't know if it's an intake heater or what, but it has about 2 gauge power wire running to it, so whatever it is it sure draws some amperage.

Can you actually hear the turbo after installing the intake? Any drop in EGT?

Thanks!

Until someone can show - with data - that the stock intake is power limiting, I would leave it alone...

I took mine apart just to look at it and the stock filter system is very unrestrictive and sucks cold air through the fender. The only thing I noticed is the mouth of the air cleaner is way bigger than the opening in the fender. The only mod I would consider is opening the hole in the fender to match the air cleaner. I do not want to suck any air from the engine compartment.
