anyone know of a good place to get suitcase weights? i cant seem to fine any and dont want to go to the stealership id like to get atlest 500lbs also any brands you recommended ih look like they would be east to mount up thanks

Do you have any used tractor sales places around you. or any farm auctions coming up? thats where I have the most luck finding them. I know they're are some for sale on compD right now.

you usually end up payin around a $1 a pound used tractor auction is where we look! or stop by a big farm and see if they have any old weight layin around they might part with...

check around our area there is a few auctions around us that thay pop up at, i know theres a auction in gibson that usualy has lots of tractor parts and stuff

also if u can wait me and my friend will me making a bunch b4 next pullin season, and thay will be made to be really easy to hang, and we can even put logos in them

sounds sweet gary are they going to be mounted in the frame rails or a different set up im between using my plow mount or in the frame rails i want to use the frame because it will set up higher then using the plow mount

no were going to be making weights!! i do make brackets tho also for guys that have asked, i do alot of traction bars, custom hitches, drive shaft loops, sled stops, u name it ive built it

heres a picture just to give u a idea of what they will look like, final size and other specs are still being debated, thay will weight about 100 pounds each and we will also be making a half size one also

FYI, Macfadden's in sharon springs has JD weight for $75 for hundred pounders, the guy told me they pretty much have an endless supply. Everyone else in CNY wanted $1 a pound. Auctions are the way to go. The good thing about dropping money on tractor weight is that it seldom depreciates in value.
