Just wondering, what color should the neutral light be? Green or white? Also is it generally acceptable to have it on a switch....i.e. not attached to the trans? I have a ZF truck so I don't know how else to quickly do this.

No, they normally can not be on a toggle switch. Must be switched on and off by the trans or shift lever. Most that I have seen are white. Good luck!

I was thinking NOT white because of the reverse lights being white..........is there any offical sanctioning body rules to look at?

White for Neutral, Green for go.

Mine is green. To me is doesn't make any sense to have white backup lights, and a white neutral light.

then why not blue for neutral or yellow
