I understand windshield washer fluid is a good source of mixture at -20 or -30* blends

Question is does it matter what kind of blend it uses for alcohol (methenol or Isopropyl)

If it doesn't matter, can they be mixed?

What do you all run?

P.S thanks for putting up with all my questions! :blahblah:

Kevin, the type of alcohol does matter. Isopropyl will cause the water to seperate (stratify) from the alcohol; methynol will remain in solution. If you're thinking of buying your meth in bulk, try to mix it with DI water if you can find it in quantity. Even distilled water is better than top water. If you have a choice about your distilled water, try to use water produced from a reverse osmosis. This is often referred to as spring water. At any rate, the methynol will remain stable far longer than if left alone. You could put a N2 cap on your bulk meth, but it's $ and a little trouble to build. You just want to keep the meth from gassing off; going flat.
