Hello all, my name is Greg and I live in Louisville, KY. I have a bone stock (all except stereo and tires) 01 Chevy Duramax 2500 4x4 crew cab short bed truck.
I have posted on this forum before looking for help with issues and had great help so I figured that I would still get that with my rather small knowledge of diesels that I am looking to change.
Only issue that I have even had out of this truck is that the idle was a bit off, under throttle it was fine. Dealership did a good amount of work for a good amount of money. I think they replaced a handful of injectors and a fuel pump? (thought it was something a bit different on a diesel...)
I have a 92 Jeep Wrangler that only sees the trails and this truck is the way that it usually makes it there. My friends and I do most of our wrenching on our jeeps ourselves so between all of us we have a good amount of skill and know-how.
Just wanted to introduce myself as I am looking to learn from the pros and maybe get some add-ons on the truck.
The local club that a lot of us are in for wheeling is K & I (Kentucky and Indiana) and can be found at www.kifourwheelers.com (http://www.kifourwheelers.com) (not trying to promote, just giving some background on me)
Looking forward to learning about my truck.
