What would cause fuel to be dripping along the passenger side of the fuel tank, I even got fuel on the bottom side of the truck bed and onto a portion of the exhaust system. I checked the fuel line and return fittings and those are dry. Could this be from topping off the tank to high or something else I missed like a vent line. Any help would be appreciated.

You may want to drop the tank or pull the bed.
I could be wrong but I am sure the tank is internally vented in the fill tube so that would kinda rule out the vent line. But it could be the fill/vent tube at the tank, or the sending unit where it goes into the tank.

Thanks KCB37. I am going under the truck today to try and figure this out. It's like I ran over a gallon of fuel and it just sprayed everywhere......it's totally bizarre

I agree sounds like the sending unit or fill line is leaking where it meets the tank. Kinda a bizzare issue I don't think I've ever seen anyone have this issue. Keep us informed

Everything on top of the tank is dry as well as all the fuel lines. The only thing I found that remotely looks like it might be leaking, is an axle seal. I used some degreaser and power washed the entire bottom of my truck. I will keep and eye on it closely each day to see if and where the problem is originating from.

did you wipe the fluid and smell what it is?
