How do you like Quad on LMM and did you buy it new or used and have any problems?

I like mine. It makes pretty good power for the amount of money spent. I bought a used LBZ tuner and sent it to quad to have it reflashed for an LMM. I saved a few dollars by doing this. I also have an MBRP turbo back exhaust so I had to download the "off road" tunes. I have about 5K miles on this setup running the 90 HP tune. So far no problems other than when I initially incorrectly downloaded the off road tunes but that wasn't Quad's fault...and the "problem" was that my cel didn't clear. But its all good now.

I bought mine used and it has been flawless for me. For me it has been perfect for deleting the DPF. I have tried all levels up to 90 hp and currently running stock as I did not see much difference in mpg at the higher levels. I was looking for mpg increase more than HP by deleting the DPF and I have seen a difference, especially towing. My only complaints would be black smoke, even on the stock setting, and defueling on the higher HP levels. Tough to beat it for the price.

I have a quad, bought mine used from a fellow off here and have had no problems, I like the power it makes but it smokes WAY too much for me, I like a little smoke but on the 90hp setting which I run all the time, my rear quarter panel is always black. I also HATE the defueling when it shifts. I am selling mine soon and going with an edge cts race. The quad is nice for a dpf delete and some more power and you cant beat it for the price, however I am going with a cts race because I here they have cleaner tunes with less smoke and the defueling isnt anything like the quad.

InTentsDmax and Browning01 are dead on about smoke and defueling. If your budget allows an edge evolution race is definitely an all around better tuner than the quad.

Thanks but at the moment I am on tight budget and just picked up a used one for less. Just want to delete DPF so truck can be normal and idle without plugging up. Thanks TentsDmax and Browning01 for your comments and jjr0419 for yours which when budget gets better will go with cleaner tuner. In the mean time interested how everyone is using their Quad and how happy are they with this budget tuner. Please keep comments coming, thanks gang.

I had one on my truck for a while and it was good. Made 422 like 800tq. It did smoke alot on the big setting.
