Hello guys im new here and I have an 06 duro with the lbz motor and it has 82,100 miles. My Q is that it smokes really bad whiteish/blueish smoke and it has what sounds like a peck in the front driver head. I bought the truck at a salvage sale light rollover and the dealer said runs and drive on it so it had already been started when I got it. Any info would be greatly apprec..Thanks Scotty

Doesn't sound good for sure.Needs to be diagnosed by a GM tech ASAP.If you can avoid mentioning about this slight ''oopsy type rollover'' to a GM dealer, you're covered you know up to 100K miles with a $100 deductible on the Dmax. Good luck.

I also forgot to mention it leaks a steady stream of antifreez in about the middle rear of engine. there is no damage at the front of truck at all..All it needed was side sheet metal and a roof skin other than that it idles smooth and has no missing from motor

Doesn't sound very good. It's normal too have some oil leak out of the turbo downpipe when you first run a rolled truck but too have antifreeze leaking sounds like another story. I imagine thats why your getting that bluish smoke out the exhaust

there is no warranty on salvage titled truck, so be prepared to pay for the diagnosing that is required.

found the problem... there was a small hose under the fuel rail leaking at the clamp and the heavy smoke quit after it was ran for about 30 min and the mass air flow was knocked out by the oil and therefor it caused high fuel delivery and weird air mix causing a so called spark knock.

Congratulations on finding the problem.
