Is the line going to the fuel cooler the return or the supply? I would assume that the larger line would be the supply not the smaller one going to the cooler... and were are you guys hooking lines up to?

Line to cooler is return.
Larger line is supply.
I and many other hook up to the factory pickup. Look at the TTS Lift Pump posts.

You are correct. The smaller line is the return to the cooler.I tapped right off the supply line from the tank.I have the Nictane Cat filter set up also with a dual lift pump setup

How do you get to the line, are you guys removing the bed? also what type of hook up is it. I think I am just going to go with a Carter Pump for now.

Mine was easily gotten to with my tank and cab/bed configuration. You will need the special (cheap) fuel line removal tool, sold just about anywhere.

I think there is a picture of the tool in my sig in cat folder.

Getting it off is easy without droping the tank ect. getting something attached is another story if you dont have the quick disconects. The TTS pumps come with the quick cennects, nictane filter also comes with the quick connects. It can be done without the quick conects but they will make your life MUCH easier.

I would do a lot of search on lift pump install before you start cutting.
should help, even with just a Pump addition, especially for power. Don't go cheap with a cutting tool.
I did and had to dig out my larger tool, as the little one did not work. ( that didn't sound right  )

I removed the bolts from the cooler so I could pull the Fuel line (still attached to the cooler) away from the body to get cutting room.

The quick disconnects mean no cutting of the factory line;) Plug and play:ro) easy return to stock too.
