I have a PPE Hot with DPF delete (old style programer). I installed mbrp turbo back the other day and the truck would not start on lvl 2 or lvl 3. I called PPE and they said see if the truck would start on lvl 1 and if it did I just needed to update the programmer. I got it from my buddy and his was an 08 mine is an 09. The truck started and there were no CEL's with level 1. i drove the truck 120 miles probably since then. No cel's.
Well i updated the programmer from PPE's website like they told em to do and now I get codes p2033, p2455, and p0546 on lvl 1, 2, or 3.
Of course I then saw that for "hot race programmers" I needed to call PPE for technical support so most likely they'll have to send me a custom program since they dont make this programmer configuration anymore.
What i need to know ASAP is if the truck is going to go into regen? I will not be able to update the tuner until thursday and spouse needs to be able to drive the truck all of this week.
This is the only codes that the truck is throwing and the truck runs fine on any of those three levels.
I figured if the programmer wasnt at least removing something in the PCM relating to the DPF it would be in "reduced power mode."
