So i just picked up my truck from the shop after having them install my new danville performance 2.6 stage 1 turbo, a wicked diesel arson kit, and a fluidampr. Now i dont know if my expectations were to high or i am so used to the existing power but i have to say, I was'nt really that impressed. I mean the turbo does spool up a little quicker and the egt's may be a little lower, But the truck doesnt really feel any faster or feel like its pulling any harder. The truck does sound a bit different now, at idle and low rpm it seems much quiter. When you start to spool up the turbo is much more noticable. Now i did up the level on my tuning one step after the turbo was installed, I figured with more air i could tune it a little hotter. I was pretty confused when i realized my truck actually seems to smoke more now than when it had the factory turbo. Does anyone think i could have a problem with something. Another thing i noticed is that even with the arson kit my truck is still about 4k psi off on desired rail pressure at WOT, which is the same number i had before the arson kit.

Who did your tuninig or are you still using the PPE in your sig?
That might be your broblem. U should have someone write you a tune that matches the new turbo and pump.

Fass pump and EFI updated after dyno pull. You will clear that smoke and blast off.

I'm using the ppe lift pump and tuner on level 7.

Try level 6 on your PPE, I know you have fuel upgrades, but my LBZ ran stronger on level 6, on level 7 it ran low on rail preasure.

Switch to efi live with custom tuning, and check for boost leaks.

You might need EFI in order to take full advantage of the new parts, the PPE still thinks your running stock stuff and could be hurting you. Just make sure everythings tight with no exhaust or boost leaks as well

I agree efi live is needed to get full potential out of that aftermarket turbo.

Cool, thanks for the input. I guess EFI is my next step. Figured i would squeeze as much as i could out of the ppe tuner. it was one of my first purchases for the truck.

you may try and contact PPE and see if they may be able to change your tuner for you.
