I just got my new downpipe from Profab - looks great. I seem to recall reading other threads where guys have removed the passenger front tire and wheel well liner - will that help? I'm not really looking forward to this install, but from what I've read, it's worth it. Thanks.

Been a while since I did mine on my LLY but I am about to do the LMM soon. Seems like it was much easier to deal with the top clamp with the wheel well out of the way.....probably the tire too.........I'll probably take both off when the time comes. It's not hard to take the wheel well out.........I do it changing the fuel filter anyway !

Thanks everyone. I don't think I could have reached the two bolts holding the dip stick tube bracket without going through the wheel well.

I got the old DP out in about 2 hours, which I think was just a hair below par. I started to install the new pipe when I realized I need a second set of hands. Hopefully, I get it finished tonight.

FYI, for anyone interested in this upgrade, the pipe I got from Profab appears to be identical to the one offered by Diamond Eye - just a whole lot le$$.
