I know there is a tire section in this forum, but more people read this one. Was curious if there is a warranty (Chevy or Bridgestone) for factory tires. One of my factory Bridgestone tires has thrown off a chunk of tread (about 2 square inches) from the outside edge of the tread. Its deep, down to the thread looking material. No offroad driving, just highway and town, didn't run over anything. Just 13,000 miles, less than a year old. Will Bridgestone cover this or will Chevy do anything about it? Thanks in advance.

If you look over your paperwork, there is a tire warranty.
But I've yet to see any dealer (Ford, GM, Dodge, or Import) honor a tire warranty. You might have a fight on your hands.

Take it to a Bridgestone , tehy will either give you a new one, or pro rate your tire towards a new one.

There is in fact a tire section (which I moved this thread to) and just because its not read as much as the LLY section doesn't mean we should all just post whatever in there. Please save us the trouble of moving the threads and just post in the right areas the first time. It will get read and answered, have patience.

Issaquah Chevrolet is by far the best dealership in the pacific northwest! I have no doubt that they would have replaced all the tires like said....I bought my truck there and have had nothing but good experiences there, try your dealership first!
