I've looked all around the underside of the motor and cannot find where the ground strap is that goes from the motor to the frame. I found a ground that goes from the top of the motor to the firewall, but not to the frame. On my Jeep it's very easy to find, right out in the open for view. But I can't find the one on my 6.5 TD. Can a fella get some help here? :help: ):h

Just as easy to see from under as from looking behind the turbo to frame. I think a bigger coated wire is better than the braided cable.

Better yet, add your own to be sure !

From all the posts that I've read that stated 'check your grounds', I decided that I would add my own, heavy duty ground from block to frame, and block to body. Now I know I have a good ground and can see it to check it.

It's as simple as taking a 4ga or larger battery cable and running it from the block. Your choice of mounting locations is pretty much unlimited.
