This is from another Thread on another forum, I just pushed it all together in one paragrah, I didn't write it but think the information contained in it is really important:

****Recently read in one of my fav truck mags that Borgeson is making a much better than oem intermediate steering shaft.I haven't found out a price yet but for us guys with no warranty left,I can't see replacing a bad unit with another just like it.
June issue of StreetTrucks pg. 124.It says you can reach them thru borgeson.com or 860 482 8283
Finally able to get on their site, says $231 for shaft with vibration damper.I think that's pretty close to oem price without warranty isn't it?*******

Take the shaft out and pack it completely full of grease. The GM kit doesn't come with near enough. I used Mobil 1 in mine over a year ago. So far so good. If it comes back revision 1 will be a zerk fitting. Later! Frank

When you pack it full of grease, the lower end needs to be sealed off or the grease just runs out when it gets hot. Remember, it is angled down. You will also need to plug the end if you use a grease fitting. Then, you will need alot of patience as the grease fitting is not easy to reach due to the IC plumbing in the way...Take the shaft out and pack it completely full of grease.
