Hi everyone im new here ,its my first post. Im having a problem with a 1995 E350 powerstroke 98000 miles. The van will eventually die under Wide open Throttle conditions . I checked fuel psi at the shrader and found my Psi Droping down from 53 psi to less then 5 psi then it just sputters and dies . If i let it sit about 3 mins it will start and run fine untill the next Heavy Throttle . Is there a fuel psi regulator ? Do they clog up with debris ? Seems they use a mecahnical pump to bring psi between 3 to 8 psi then it goes to a second stage to get boosted to 53 psi , ( i think ) Has anyone had problems with Fuel psi regulator restrictions ? Ohh and there are no Codes at all ...:help:

Ok its Fixed thought i would let everyone know . I replaced The Mechanical lift pump in the engine valley along with a new fuel filter / fuel regulator assembly, ohhh and about 8 hrs later going down the road the fuel psi At wide open throttle would hold steady at about 40 psi and go no lower . Wasnt a cheap job thats for sure parts alone were near 800 bucks. :grd:
