I'm brand new to pulling and need a little help.
What is the easiest and or best way to lower the torsion bars for pulling? Dealer advised not to just crank on the nut with a BIG rachet wrench, because it puts a lot of pressure on the threads when raising the front end back up. He also said you should have both wheels off the ground when raising the front end back up. I've heard about a tool to unload the pressure on the torsion bar, but can't find one.
How are you guys lowering the front end for pulling and then raising it back up?
Yes, I already have SD centerlink and tie rod sleeves, so I don't have to lower the front end. I just want to try lowering the front end to see if it makes any difference in pulling.
Thanks.

Just use a floor jack to raise up your front end thus removing most of the load from the torsion bars. It is best to do this both when lowering and raising the front end. Just be sure you count the turns down so you can get it back to the original ride height and alignment.

Will you be hanging weight? If so you may not be able to drop them as much. The weight will drop the front-end quite a bit.
