I have the crewcab. My rear seats are normally flat as I carry tools and junk on the seat backs. Looks like I can't use an 'under the seat box' as the seats won't be flat.
Since my seats are flat about 90% of the time is there any reason that I should not use a box that will fit behind the seat?
Does anyone have any suggestions on a good behind the seat box?

Why don't you have one built to fit your truck and your needs? I don't understand why every one wants to buy a box when you can have them built at your local stereo shop for half the price! I have a custom box behind the back seat of my dually. I might have lost 3 or 4 inches of knee room, which is no prob in a dually, and it is actually made for the speakers that are in it! I have two Memphis 10's that sound like 12's! A pre-fab box will never sound as good as a custom built one, and in most cases the custom box is cheaper!

I believe the reason 'everyone' wants to buy a prebuilt box is they are cheaper than having one custom made. At least that's why 'everyone' around here wants a prebuilt one.

How much are yall paying for a prebuilt one? I paid 180.00 for mine and I will garuntee yall that it hits harder and sounds much better than any prefab box!!

"MY 10s sound like 12s" that is the stupidest statement that anyone that knows anything about car audio can make. Let me guess they're Sony Explodes the best subs in the world and hit 100,000,000 DBs.

if you lived near me I would let you hear them. Every one that gets in my truck doesn't believe they are 10s. And for your info they are Memphis M class 10's behind a directed 1100D. And they hit a 143 on the meter in a crew cab truck!

My 10s hit harder than my old 12s in my bandpass box.

I did an SPL test while I was in the truck tonight, I stopped at 130 dB as my ears couldnt handle it anymore. This was using a Test tone CD.

What meter, where was the mic, window or doors open?

Don't know the brand, it was in a black bag sitting outside the truck. The probe/microphone was on the dash board next to the windshield with the drivers side window cracked to let the cable through. The rest of the doors were closed.
