0-60 TIME WITH PREDATOR SET AT 40HP AND EDGE JUICE SET TO 5/5 WAS 10.4 SEC. NON-BOOSTED LAUNCH.
0-60 TIME WITH PREDATOR SET AT 40HP AND EDGE JUICE SET TO 4/3 AND A BOOSTED LAUNCH WAS 13.5, LOTS OF TIRE SPIN AND RUBBER LEFT ON THE GROUND, NOT TO MENTION GETTING SIDEWAYS IN 1ST & 2ND GEAR. I SEEM TO BACKDOWN IN 4TH & 5TH GEAR.
HOW ARE YOU GUYS GETTING 6 - 8 SEC. RUNS 0-60. PLEASE SEE MY SIG. BELOW FOR OTHER MODIFICATIONS. COULD THE 35" TIRES BE HURTING ME THAT BAD. AT THIS PACE I COULDNT BEAT A POWERSTROK. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE APPRECIATED. BY THE WAY, I ONLY GET 11.5 MPG COMBINED CITY AND HIGHWAY MILEAGE. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!:help:

If the truck isn't dead still the timer is running.

full stop hard on brakes then start the attitude then hammer the fuel.

Some have said if u touch the fuel to build boost the timer starts, I don't know never tried it.

spinning will obviously slow you down. checked Edge website the timer is supposed to start when you mash the go pedal so that is probably why the boosted launch is slower. 11.5mpg does sound bad it probably is the tires because the odometer doesnt account for bigger tires. when on the highway check your odo vs the mileage signs, mine is about .1 mile off with 285 bfg's.

what do you have your tire size set at in the attitude (mm)? i think mine is at 2730mm +\-. I set it using MY GPS.

If i remember correctly. My 0-60mph with juice only 5/4 and stock tranny was 7.6 sec...that was only squealing tires not spinning. Something doesn't seem right with your set up.

and i can get a slight boosted launch before the timer starts but if she moves even a bit the timer starts.

i corrected the tire size with the predator, i left the edge on the stock setting for tire size. if i correct the tire size with both the predator and the edge, the edge is running fast.

My truck with the Six-Gun and Speedloader on level 4 runs a 6.6 second 0-60 time. This is with a non-boosted launch. A STOCK LLY Duramax runs under 9 seconds 0-60. Something isn't right.

Try not correcting with the predator and only correct with the edge. My truck with juice on 5/5 will run 0-60 in 6.7 seconds which isn't all that great either. My LB7 did it in 5.7

Anothering thing, with the edge as soon as you hit the throttle it is timing. Hold the brakes and press the throttle to the floor. You will get big time lag in 1st. If you do a boosted launch you will throw your times out of wack because it starts timing as soon as you hit the throttle.

just remember that none of the programmers/chips will compensate for mileage traveled just speed.

FWIW, according to the Edge, I can do 0-60 in 5.6 in a level straight away. That's spinning the tires all 2nd gear with little boost on the launch, but no flooring it on take off.

Stock on Edge level 0, completely unboosted launch, my crew cab LLY will do about 9.9 seconds 0-60. Edge on level 3, defuel on all shifts, stock tranny, it will run about 8 seconds IIRC. All of those times are in 2wd. Im too chicken to try a boosted launch in 4wd until I sleeve my tie rods!!!

I did a little test last night and ran 6.3 sec to 60mph. this with my lb7, 315s, 4x4 boosted launch. Now the reason i mentioned this, there has been some discussion about the attitude starting when you hit the pedal. it does start when you hit the pedal but...if you hold the brakes alittle longer the (T) in the upper corner of the attitude disappears and the ready prompt returns.:ro) it takes a little practice. the only problem is with the ready prompt up you cannot see how much boost you are making.:( My tranny doesn't like me but i am going trade her in for a younger one;)
