I've got a RCD 6" and I'm looking to add dual shocks on the front. I know RCD makes a kit but I looking for something a little better. I was told I could use the cognito kit that includes a new upper arm. Anyone out there have a RCD 6" with a dual front?????

I don't really like any of the bolt-in shock hoops. I opted to have a custom set built that welded into the frame. SoCal Supertrucks in SB did the work. I also opted for a good single shock over duals but that's another story. Here's a pic:

See how it welds to the sides of the frame and then is stiffened in the back to the top of the frame. This prevents it from rolling over like most of the bolt-in hoops. I'd see if you can find a local shop to fab some up for you or give Casey or Joe a call at SoCal Supertrucks and have them quote you one.

The Front Hoop Kit for RCD 6" is available. I am also interested in purchasing one. You can also opt out the Bilstien 5100 shocks for the better 7100 series for an additional price. I will get the part number from RCD and post later.

Definitely off the hook……to much $$$ for me also. Then again I was looking at about 2G’s for the Cognito setup with 4 – 7100’s. They are local to me and you never know until you ask.
