: Do I need a tech2 brake bleed??

I have bled the brakes on my suburban a few times and get a nice solid pedal when I am done. However, if I push really hard on the pedal I can get it to go spongy and the stopping doesn't seem to increase after a certain point. I also cannot lock the front brakes with the ABS relay pulled. Any thoughts?

I assume it is a diesel? If so you have a hydroboost assisted power braking and that is exactly how they feel. My 04 Duramax feels the same way.

So you are saying that it's normal, Max Power?

Well I am no expert but the way you describe it is the same as both my 03 and 04 as well as every hydro boost truck I have ever driven feels.
