New truck July 2 :ro) , noticed that one of the tail gate cable was about 2 inches longer than the right side. This can not be right :confused: . Well my list get larger with warranty problems when I go in Thursday.

BMCD 07-27-2005, 10:03 AM I got the same problem on mine. One has slack in it when the tailgate is down. I have pretty much forgotten bout it until i received my recall in the mail yesterday. Noticed my connections have rusted pretty good too. hazmat91180 07-27-2005, 10:09 AM yeah i had mine replaced when I bought my used 02' and the ones they put in stick out when the gate is folded back up. Annoying... check the bolts that hold them on, my cables were sticking out after they put mine on and the bolts were loose. | ||
