I finally talked to the Service Manager about my injector replacement. I have been trying to get the Tech II results or ANY specs justifying the replacement. The Manger told me it would take 6 hrs of testing on the 3-4 page TSB and an additional 8 hrs for job. Since there have been so many problems they are SKIPPING the testing! He said, "Fuel in the crank means replace ALL. I can almost finish the job in the same time it takes to do the testing. GM doesn't want to pay for 14 hrs of labor on an 8 hr job."

Apparently they are replacing so many of them that it's faster to just replace them instead of test them. Must be a bigger problem than you think!!!!

Gee I wonder why they are changing so many when dealer aren't even testing them, just replacing them.

I believe it is possible for the lines to leak and dump fuel in the oil but the injectors themselves are fine. I guess you still have to get to the same point to fix that anyways.
