Which section for AC issues. So many have been made, can't figure out what is what.

I have typical AC non-coolong issues with my AC. Dealer said system was low, topped it off, and that was it. Rarely cools below 70 degrees on a 90 degree day.

Today however, things changed. All of a sudden it decided 55 degrees was the way to go, and it froze me out in 95 degree weather. After letting it set while I ran into the supermarket, wouldn't produce less than 70 degrees. Out of warrenty on this, why intermittent? Weird if you ask me.

Sounds like a orifice tube problem to me. It may have a bit of trash on it that be floating around when you turn it off. Usually trash comes from the compressor (meaning compressor is coming apart). I just had same problem on my truck. I figured for the price of Freon nowadays, I would replace everything and hopefully be back to normal. (Everything is Compressor, orficise tube, accumulator, and hose set)
I think I got all the parts minus the Freon for around $300.00.

Yours is probably just starting to come apart and may be able to just clean the orfice tube and get another season or so out of. Unfortunatly you have to evacuate the freon to clean the tube. Which is why I decieded to go ahead and fix mine.

Hope this helps
