Just went into today to get oil and great sale price on this oil. I stocked up past what I needed by a long shot. Decided why not it's a deal......

That price is so good I bought enough for a few yrs. This store was North of Denver. Check wallyworldski website I guess or call your stores.

the walmart by me had Delo for $8.50 for a while (might still have it). I actually bought it to do an oil change about 2 weeks ago.

Excellent deal! $2.13/qrt for some of the highest performing dino oil that has been proven to go 10k miles with ease. What's not to like!

Headed to my local walmart today to check out this deal if it's available in my area. If so, I will be buying them out of oil! haha! But usually my walmart doesn't offer these deals on the oil like people post on here.

I got my Delvac 1300 last year two-for-one at OR's, which ended up being $6.50/gallon! That was the sickest price I'd ever seen. But this one for $8.50/gallon is nothing to walk away from!

Went to WalMart this AM. They had Chevron Delo for $8.50 - not Delvac.
Picked up 5 gallons. I normally run Rotella, but have used Delo before. It's good oil.

If things look sightly funny....I merged the duplicate threads together.

Looks like I need to take a trip to Wally World.

Just wondering about the shelf life for oil for that long..the way I figure..at some point between my 10k oil changes either Delvac/Delo/Rotella will be on sale somewhere avoiding the need to stockpile oil and keep only what I need onhand for my upcoming oil change. And, Sam's Club (Walmart's warehouse superstore) by me here in SoCal always carries Delvac1300 15w40 for $38 for 4g case..Delo for $32+/- for 3g case and Rotella somewhere around the same price. I think the Delvac is the best deal and my truck seems to like it so I've been running that for some time now. My .02

Also a good oil I would say. It's factory fill in the Kenworths (cummins) that we get in at work.

I personally wouldn't worry about shelf life, my wife was far more challenging. I used to run Quaker State HDX 15W/40 - I bought that up by the case at the PX or BX every chance I could until they finally stopped stocking it in the system (lack of demand) - then when we no longer had three diesels, but one, then those cases of oil started really not going as fast. So I think they had gotten to the CF-4 standard and I still had some CC (as well as CC/CD, CE, CF-4...). She was beginning to think part of my 401k was in motor oil...

When I was home on leave in August we were in Tulailip north of Seattle and the wallyworld there had Delvac synthetic for about $20 a gallon. I think I bought eight gallons at that price. Sure they'll sit on my garage shelf for a while but I couldn't beat the price.

Walmarts here in Tucson stocking Chevron Delo for $8.50 a gallon. Used to buy my Shell Rotella there in the 2 1/2 gallon jugs for $22. Last weekend when I checked, they still had it but it's now $29 a jug. What a jump in price.
