My truck has experienced some serious brake fade on occasion so I want to upgrade my brakes starting with good pads up front for heavy duty braking. What is the best brake pad in your experience. I need somethihng that can handle some towing abuse with no fade when over worked.

I'm going to start with good pads and upgrade the brake fluid and see where that takes me. Concidered slotted and drilled or dimpled rotors but I'm not convinced that is the answer and any rotor is not cheap for a dually.

I know delco pads and rotors are best for the newer trucks. im not sure about your year. i would check rockauto and buy any quality part from them.

also a brake fluid flush is a excellent idea.

On a '94, the rear drums are the handicap. Best way out is rear disc, but it can be expensive. Fade will always be an issue as long as the back brakes don't do their share.
