I get that you can make your own tunes, and where you buy it from has different tunes and everything, but i looked at duramaxtuner.com and a price for dsp5 was like 500 but on the efi live website the tuner is 800. so if i bought the dsp5 from duramaxtuner.com is that just the tunes or is that the tunes and the tuner itself?

Nick will sell you a ECM with DSP5 and tunes for around 500 something-i think the 800 price you saw must have been for the software. He is listed in the vendor section why not shoot him a PM and get a price right from him. Oh and his tunes rock by the way I will hopefully be going this way very soon

Or you can simply go with a progranmmed ECM ready to go and save the hassle. This is my preference.

Sound like you were looking at the Pre-Programmed ECM for $500. In that case you're not actually buying EFI Live. You're buying a new ECM and a DSP5 Switch, all you have to do is install.

To buy EFI Live (the tuner itself, no tunes), you're looking at $800.

We don't publish our contact numbers for a couple of reasons. Our office is based in New Zealand. Your last post in this thread was made at 8.14 Thursday morning in New Zealand, and 6.14am Thursday morning in my time zone in Australia. The costs of international calls can be quite expensive (or down right excessive) from the USA unless you have a call plan that covers international. For these reasons, we suggest our US customers contact a US dealer.

Cheers
