All the floor heating materials will be here Tuesday. I will get it laid out and concrete poured within the next couple weeks. Between a new baby and getting called into work all the time, I seem to be a little behind schedule.

ive noticed several of you guys that are building shops construct the building then go back and pour the concrete floor.. why are you goin that route as opossed to slab first then the frame building??? are there benifits doing it that way??

rgullett83

rgullett83

one evening next week. Still have to put the tubing in pvc elbows, where they are going to come out of the floor, and build forms around my hydrant and water into the bathroom.

Can be done both ways. If the building is up you can pour the concrete on a rainy day and you dont have to put all those forms up. It is fast easy and very common around here.

That is a great setup and looking very good! As I know we've talked and you know, insulation is a huge key in keeping the building heated and cool. Never skimp on insulation! Looks like a great place to have an 08 dually parked for a few hours to get some work done! haha. Shop is looking great bud!
