I installed Ricks Manifolds and up pipes a couple of weeks ago and wanted to post my observations for anyone thinking about getting them.
#1. It took about a day to install, went pretty well and straight foward.
#2. I have a 5 inch straight pipe exhaust, so she's loud to begin with. This made it a little louder, sounds really good. Like a gas big block chevy only better.
#3. I am not much for seat of the pants guessing, but I do know that I am wearing out my brakes alot faster. I have to apply the brakes harder than before at the same intersections.
Spools up faster and gets going sooner. Better throtte responce.
#4. EGT's are down a little.
#5. I have had the same tune on my truck for 3 years. I have a high boost recall and the highest PSI before the RDL's was 32. After the RDL install the highest PSI is 35.
IMO this is one of the best mods I have done to my truck, if you are thinking about geting these, do it, definitely worth every cent.
