Like the title says, just wrapped up installing a DP 68mm Stg3 w/MPI 3" S480 Twin kit! It is sweet and the first test drive got my attention. It really quieted my whistle down, kinda sad about that. It drives good and has nice power up top so far and the egt's are alittle better also. I flipped on my drag tune and it scared me alittle bit it pulled so hard in fourth. When I get this gate all dialed in it should be really nice. Right now it is 40-45psi and 60 psi drive pressure. When I get it up on the dyno I will let you guys know what it does.

Nope, I don't have a filter under the hood!

Travis, I have a feeling it might be alittle while before I get to that boost level. On the way home last night I saw a solid 40-45psi and drive pressure was 1-1 until I got over 3500rpms and then the drive pressure started to climb. I have the gate vented to atmosphere right now and it is opening above 50psi(didn't have the time to get it plumbed back into the hot pipe). The 68mm seems better than the 2.6 did on Larry's truck. We are all seeing different results with the different turbo combo's and tuning. One thing I do know is that it is as fast now on the tow tune as it was before on the drag tune and the egt's are only 1100degrees at full bore and will go triple digits at the snap of a finger. I can't wait to put some sticks in this thing. It is alot of fun to drive. I am going to have to get another kit from Nathan to make the gate and plumbing easier to install for the end user and it can be offered as a kit complete with everything.

Looking good mark. Is the stage 3 a 2.8 charger mark? If so pm a price on one I'm interested to know what they run price wise.

That looks great. I just spoke with Larry about some things to my truck this last week. He was very helpful in answering questions I had. I am sending you guys my sticks this coming week and will be getting some programing from you with EFI Live. I am working up to the set up you have here. I am going to start with a single and would like to know what would work well for now with intentions of going to the twins later. PM me a price if you don't mind. I only talked to Larry about a single, but I have decided I want a compound set up eventually.

Thanks and congrats on the new set up!!

Twins definately make them fun to drive. I know the few times I ran my big tune after a few changes I would get out and see if it was hazing any smoke from bent rods lol!

What is the spool up time like with the setup?

What about full throttle from a stop?

Now that I got everything dialed in the way I like it spool up is like stock now. Haven't done a full throttle stomp from a stop so I don't know about that. On the tow tune it will lite up the tires when it grabs 2nd gear at full throttle.

Thanks Mark. I think I am gonna look into this.

Have you towed much with the setup? If not, does it seem like it would do well?

The more I am exposed to the Compound setup the more I like it. Still prefer the analog version, but...
