I am currently on my 3rd diesel truck. Just god rid of the ford f-350 6.0 for a chevy duramax. I am relatively new to diesels so here goes. What does LLY stand for. Please, be gentle....... LLY is just the engine code. It actually stands for the second generation Dmax. LB7 was the code for the first gen.
