I have heavy white smoke pouring out the passenger side tailpipe and a bad knock too, the smoke smells harsh not sweet at all and some black smoke mixed in with it, the drivers side tail pipe is usual black smoke not alot but normal?? I'm thinking it's bad injector?? anyone have any ideas?? it was cold start, it usualy starts right up on cold starts, and can take a couple of extra cranks when its hot. the last time I drove the truck it started idling ruff like a cylinder was out but I didn't notice a lot of smoke. this time it cranked over about 7-8 times and finaly caught. usualy takes about 1-2

Have you checked your glow plugs ?
