Had a lower ball joint replaced at the dealer last month and the zerk is damaged and will not accept greese. I hate to take it back if the zerk can be replaced. I have zerks but there is no shoulder on these and I can not tell if its threaded or pressed in.....thanks

I'm not a tech but on the 01's the zerks on the lower ball joints are not replaceable, all one unit, I'm assuming the 02's are the same. I had to have the ball joint replaced,as the check ball in the zerk wouldn't close and kept losing grease.

Thank you for the reply...on mine the check ball is appearently pinched and won't let the grease in. I guess its back to the dealer.....Bill
