Hey All,

I need some help. I am from Colorado and need to register my Silverado 1500 in CA. I have it all done and paid for and now they are telling me that I need a Weight Certificate. Ugh.

Does anyone have a good suggestion on there to get this done? Google shows a scale in LA, but I would really like to avoid the drive up there.

You need a weight slip. Don't think there is a way around that. Not sure if they want it certified or not. Most big truck stops will have a scale. Or if you know some one big time in racing they should have some wheel scales but would have to be able to print the weight. You can also try a metal scrape yard as they have scales and could weigh you and right up a slip for a small fee.
